The markets in the Alpes Maritimes

The Côte d’Azur is all about sunshine, beaches and lounging, but it’s also full of small and large typical markets! Among those we’ve listed below, we have our favorites, of course! The Antibes market, which takes place in the old fortified town and gives you the opportunity to stroll through its typical alleyways, discovering stores and craftsmen. The market in Valbonne, a small inland village just 20 minutes from the campsite. Held every Friday morning, it’s the ideal place to find fresh local produce and typical objects (olive wood utensils, wicker baskets, Provencal fabrics…). Set up in the village lanes, you’ll wind your way through to discover all the stalls, enjoying the typical architectural spectacle and warm atmosphere of our small villages. The San Remo market, even more than Ventimiglia, is a great opportunity for a day out in Italy. Just 1h30 from the campsite, you’ll get a taste of Italy’s warm, festive atmosphere. Local products, clothes, bags and gadgets are sure to delight market-goers. In summer, there are numerous night markets along the seafront, from Juan les Pins to Menton, via Antibes, Cagnes sur Mer and even La Colle sur Loup! An ideal outing for the whole family during the cooler hours of the day.
